History

Tan Bach Duong was launched in 1999 as an importer of premium ice cream. Back then, Vietnam was expanding her horizons, having welcomed foreign visitors for less than a decade. It seems hard to imagine that a brand launched at the turn of the millennium has become of the country’s foremost providers of premium food products, including coffee, tea and ice cream, sourced from around the world.

Tan Bach Duong was founded by Michael Richard Doyle. Back in 1999, Mr. Doyle envisioned his ice cream importing business becoming a success in the country with tropical weather. He broadened his vision when he made his first sale, to a leading local 5-star hotel. It was then that he realized the immense potential of a B2B business model, which will not only prove sustainable but succeed as well.

Over the years, the sales have multiplied and today, Tan Bach Duong is trusted by food businesses across Vietnam as a provider of premium products. With offices in Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Bach Duong continues to serve its clients with a singular focus on quality, in turn helping them serve their clients with the best possible products.
